Role Overview:

The Brand Marketing Manager - Hair will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and market share for the hair care category. This role involves managing the entire brand lifecycle, from ideation and product development to launch and ongoing marketing campaigns. The Brand Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of brand plans. This role directly impacts brand perception, consumer engagement, and ultimately, the P&L of the hair care category.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement annual brand marketing plans for the hair care category, aligning with overall business objectives, to achieve targeted revenue and profitability goals.

- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer insights, market trends, and opportunities for innovation and growth.

- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and television, to enhance brand awareness and drive consumer engagement.

- Manage the product lifecycle, from new product development and launch to product improvements and rationalization, to maintain a competitive and relevant product portfolio.

- Oversee the brand's P&L, including budget management, pricing strategy, and promotional planning, to optimize profitability and ROI.

- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective trade marketing programs and promotions, to drive sales and market share in key retail channels.

- Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, including sales, market share, brand awareness, and consumer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement and optimize marketing strategies.

- Manage and mentor a team of brand executives, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and contribution to the team's success.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful brand marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.

- Proven expertise in category management, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and product lifecycle management.

- Strong understanding of consumer marketing principles and techniques, with the ability to identify consumer insights and translate them into effective marketing campaigns.

- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven decisions.

- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Solid understanding of pricing strategies and P&L management.

- MBA in Marketing from a reputed institution preferred.
