Job Description: Brand Marketing Manager (B2C | US Market)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Brand Marketing professional to build and scale a digital-first consumer brand focused on users based in the United States, particularly students and early professionals settled in the US. This role will drive brand awareness, demand generation, and direct traffic growth across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and build the digital brand presence for a B2C Consumer Product targeting the US market
- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies to drive direct and organic traffic
- Plan and manage full-funnel digital campaigns across performance, content, social, and partnerships
- Lead brand storytelling, positioning, and messaging aligned to US consumer behavior
- Work closely with growth, product, and performance marketing teams to drive measurable impact
- Analyze brand and campaign performance, optimize based on insights and data
- Manage agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders as required
Target Audience
- Primary focus on students and professionals settled in the US
- Experience building brands for US consumers from India or while based in the US
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 812 years of experience in marketing with strong exposure to B2C digital brand building
- Background in traditional marketing with a successful transition to a digital-first approach
- Experience working with consumer tech or B2C companies, preferably with US-focused products
- Prior exposure to Fintech or consumer financial products is a strong plus
- Experience in building or scaling brands in the US market
Candidates who have:
- Worked in the US and returned to India, or
- Are currently based in India but have built brands for US consumers
- Strong understanding of direct traffic, brand-led growth, and performance marketing
- Alumni from reputed institutes preferred
Preferred Background Companies
- Fintech or consumer tech companies operating in or targeting the US market
- Experience from companies similar to or equivalent global B2C brands
