Description:
We are building a central Design Thinking & Consumer Insights function to power our shift towards a direct-to-consumer business.
This role sits at the intersection of behavioral science, data, and product strategy. You will go beyond surface-level analytics to decode why customers behave the way they do, and translate those insights into high-impact product and business decisions.
This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on customer experience, conversion, retention, and trust metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive behavioral insights by combining qualitative research, quantitative data, and psychological frameworks
- Analyze user journeys, funnels, and behavioral patterns to identify drop-offs and growth opportunities
- Design and run research studies, experiments, and hypothesis-driven analyses
- Translate insights into clear problem statements, strategic recommendations, and product opportunities
- Partner with Product, Design, and Business teams to shape roadmap decisions
- Evaluate and validate prototypes, concepts, and experience improvements
- Build structured outputs like personas, journey maps, and behavioral models
- Influence business KPIs such as conversion, engagement, retention, and trust
Ideal Candidate:
- 25 years of experience in Behavioral Insights / Consumer Insights / Product Analytics / Strategy roles
- Strong exposure to B2C / consumer-facing digital businesses (fintech, e-commerce, consumer tech)
- Experience working on user journeys, funnels, and digital behavior analysis
- Ability to combine data + research + business context to drive decisions
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, behavioral biases, and decision science
- Hands-on experience with research methods (qualitative + quantitative)
- Working knowledge of SQL / analytics tools is a plus
- Strong structured thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
