This becomes even more critical in times such as now, which are full of change, challenge, and tremendous complexity. The 2LoD plays a vital role in enhancing audit quality by providing direct, real-time support and coaching to engagement teams before audit opinions are signed, with the goal of helping the engagement team deliver audits in accordance with relevant professional standards.

Skills Required:

- Self-motivated, with strong coordination skills and ability to drive tasks to closure

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in team environments

- Strong understanding of KAM, Indian Auditing Standards, and Financial Services (FS) sector practices

- Good communication skills (oral and written)

- Excellent drafting and documentation skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Responsibilities:

- Conduct independent, in-depth reviews of significant risks and key areas of focus on audit engagements, particularly within the Financial Services domain

- Support achievement of KAM-compliant engagement files

- Enhance "learning on the job" for audit team members by sharing insights and best practices

- Bring efficiency and consistency in audit approach

- Contribute to other Q&R initiatives, including audit milestone monitoring, monthly Q&R MIS, standardization, specialists, and audit quality project management

Additional Information

Required Qualification: CA (Charted Accountant)

Designation: Manager or Associate Director (to be finalized post-interview).

Candidates should have a current CTC of at least 17 LPA.
