Position : Manager - Audit

Experience : 6-12 Years

Qualification : Chartered Accountant (CA)

Salary: 12-18 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and expertise)

Working Days : Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday Off)

Working Hours : 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Manager - Audit to lead and manage audit and assurance engagements. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and other assurance assignments. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and the capability to manage client relationships effectively while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Internal Audits, and other audit and assurance assignments across multiple clients.

- Plan audit engagements, define audit scope, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure timely and quality delivery.

- Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements.

- Review audit working papers, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.

- Identify risk areas, internal control weaknesses, and provide practical recommendations to clients for process improvements.

- Supervise, mentor, and guide audit teams, including seniors and article trainees, to enhance team performance and skill development.

- Act as a key point of contact for clients, handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong professional relationships.

- Coordinate with partners and senior management to discuss audit findings, critical issues, and final deliverables.

- Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters, and compliance documentation within defined timelines.

- Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and auditing practices and ensure their effective implementation in assignments.
