Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Audit & Tax Manager to lead and oversee our audit and taxation functions. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, identifying risks, and implementing tax-efficient strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial auditing and taxation, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering insights that support strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee financial audits and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
- Analyze financial statements to assess organizational financial health and risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor the audit and tax team, fostering professional growth and accountability.
- Identify internal control gaps and recommend enhancements to mitigate risk.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in auditing and taxation.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Expertise in financial auditing and tax compliance.
- Risk assessment and internal control evaluation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven experience in managing teams and working with senior stakeholders.
