Manager - Assurance & Accounting

Job Description :

- Lead teams to complete audit and review engagements, end to end on a variety of clients in different industries and size of organizations

- Develop and apply knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), and/or Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS)

- Develop a strong understanding of MNPs audit and review methodology

- Develop and apply knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards and Canadian Standards on Review Engagements

- Detail file review audit and review engagements

- Deliver industry and technical expertise in assurance and accounting client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations, and high-quality deliverables

- Manage a portfolio of clients while understanding their business, key risks, and ways to deliver added value; ensure clients needs are met and that relationships and accounts grow and develop

- Accountable for engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials

- Maintain quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address issues relevant to the clients business, financial entries, and reports

- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews

- Build competencies in data analytics reporting and identification of opportunities for relevant client advisory services

- Identify possible areas of improvement to internal process and technologies and collaborate with other internal teams on solutions

- Lead and participate in delivery of training initiatives
