Manager/Associate Director - Statutory Audit - Consulting Firm - CA

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead complex statutory audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards and regulatory timelines for large-scale corporate clients.

- Manage end-to-end client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact to resolve complex accounting issues and provide value-added insights on financial reporting.

- Oversee the execution of audit procedures, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements under IFRS and GAAP frameworks.

- Mentor and develop audit teams by providing technical guidance and performance feedback, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional service lines to identify business risks and provide integrated solutions that enhance the overall audit experience for the client.

- Drive the adoption of digital audit tools and innovative methodologies to improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making across the assurance practice.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in Statutory Audit and Assurance, with a deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.

- Proven ability to manage large-scale audit engagements and complex financial reporting projects within a Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm environment.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate challenging client conversations with professional maturity.

- Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to manage, coach, and inspire diverse teams to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a consistent academic record and a strong foundation in accounting principles.

- High degree of adaptability to a hybrid work environment, with the ability to manage remote teams and on-site client interactions effectively across Bangalore and Chennai locations.
