Associate Director - Manager | Statutory Audit
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Candidate specializing in Statutory Audit under Ind AS to join our prestigious management consulting firm.
This is a leadership role for a qualified CA with deep technical expertise in Ind AS compliance, strong audit management skills, and a track record of leading complex engagements across industries. You will drive audit quality, strengthen client financial reporting and controls, and mentor the next generation of auditors - with direct impact on client success and firm growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead statutory audit engagements end-to-end - planning, execution, and reporting - in line with Ind AS and regulatory requirements
- Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and audit issues, including IFRS/US GAAP where relevant
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business to proactively address audit concerns
- Mentor and develop junior auditors, embedding best practices across the team
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders during audits and inspections
- Identify financial reporting risks and recommend internal control improvements
- Apply strong working knowledge of audit frameworks - sampling, working papers, re-performance, and quality standards
- Stay current on evolving Ind AS standards and auditing regulations
What We're Looking For:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with current, hands-on statutory audit experience under Ind AS
- 4 - 12 years of relevant experience in statutory audit at a reputed consulting or audit firm
- Strong command of Ind AS and audit methodologies, with solid grasp of applicable regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to lead multiple audit engagements and teams simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring and developing audit talent
- Proficiency with audit software and tools
