
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Assurance practice as a Manager or Associate Director based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai. In this capacity, you will lead complex statutory audit engagements, serving as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients while overseeing the delivery of high-quality financial reporting. You will work closely with senior leadership and diverse cross-functional teams to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes and drive audit excellence. By ensuring technical accuracy and fostering strong client relationships, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity of financial disclosures and delivering strategic value to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end execution of statutory audits for large-scale corporate clients to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor high-performing audit teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback to foster professional growth and operational efficiency.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters and business risks.
- Oversee the planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for multiple engagements to ensure timely delivery and adherence to firm quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to resolve complex technical accounting issues and provide innovative solutions to client challenges.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for value-added services and contributing to the growth of the assurance practice.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in Statutory Audit and Assurance practices, with a deep understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, and Companies Act provisions.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale client engagements and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial insights to C-suite executives and audit committees.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk assessment, process improvement, and technical problem-solving.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6 - 14 years of progressive experience, preferably within a Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site client interactions with remote team management effectively.
