Role Overview :
As a Manager or Associate Director of Statutory Audit, you will lead high-stakes audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of marquee clients, ensuring absolute compliance with regulatory frameworks and accounting standards.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing complex audit cycles while mentoring high-performing teams to deliver precise, insightful financial reporting. Your work directly influences the integrity of financial disclosures, providing the transparency and assurance that investors and boards rely on to make critical business decisions in a dynamic economic landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale enterprises, ensuring adherence to Ind AS, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements to maintain organizational compliance.
- Manage client relationships by providing proactive technical guidance on complex accounting issues, thereby strengthening long-term partnerships and trust.
- Oversee audit planning, risk assessment, and execution strategies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit reports that meet stringent internal and external quality standards.
- Mentor and develop audit teams by fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth, ensuring the firm maintains a competitive edge in talent retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional service lines to identify and mitigate financial risks, delivering value-added insights that improve the client's internal control environment.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in statutory audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance frameworks, backed by a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, negotiate audit findings, and present critical financial data to board-level executives.
- Possess a proven ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams, managing project timelines and resource allocation in a high-pressure, hybrid work environment across Mumbai or Bangalore.
- Showcase a sharp analytical mindset to identify systemic risks and process inefficiencies, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Maintain a high degree of professional skepticism and ethical judgment, ensuring all audit activities align with the highest standards of independence and integrity.
