Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Statutory Audit practice in Mumbai as a Manager or Associate Director. In this capacity, you will lead complex audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting frameworks. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing audit teams to deliver high-quality assurance services while driving operational excellence. Your work will directly influence the integrity of financial disclosures, providing the transparency and accuracy that our clients rely on to maintain market trust and achieve their strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale corporate clients to ensure strict adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements.

- Manage and mentor high-performing audit teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development to meet stringent project timelines.

- Oversee complex financial reporting processes, identifying potential risks and providing actionable insights to client leadership to enhance their internal control environments.

- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on technical accounting matters and audit-related challenges.

- Drive the execution of audit strategies, ensuring that all deliverables meet the firm's global quality standards and contribute to the overall success of the assurance practice.

Required Skillset:

- Possess deep technical proficiency in statutory audit methodologies, with a comprehensive understanding of IFRS and GAAP financial reporting standards.

- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and influence decision-making at the board or management level.

- Exhibit a proven ability to manage large-scale audit projects, balancing technical accuracy with commercial awareness and client service delivery.

- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from a recognized institute, complemented by 5 - 10 years of progressive experience within a Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm.

- Thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment in Mumbai, maintaining high levels of productivity and team collaboration across both physical and virtual settings.
