Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Statutory Audit practice in Mumbai at the Manager or Associate Director level. In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, ensuring rigorous compliance with regulatory standards and financial reporting frameworks. You will act as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, managing audit teams to deliver high-quality, timely, and insightful audit opinions. By driving excellence in audit methodology and fostering a culture of technical precision, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of financial markets and providing our clients with the clarity they need to make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements for large-scale corporate clients, ensuring adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory requirements to maintain financial transparency.

- Manage and mentor high-performing audit teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback to foster professional growth and ensure consistent delivery standards.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives and audit committees, acting as a trusted advisor on complex accounting matters and financial reporting challenges.

- Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of audit procedures, identifying critical business risks and implementing robust controls to enhance overall audit quality.

- Drive business development initiatives by identifying value-add opportunities for clients and contributing to the firm's growth strategy within the Mumbai market.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a deep technical understanding of IFRS, Ind AS, and GAAP, with the ability to interpret complex accounting standards and apply them to diverse industry scenarios.

- Demonstrate exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of navigating high-pressure environments while managing expectations of both internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Exhibit strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, allowing for the identification of systemic risks and the formulation of effective audit strategies.

- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the ICAI, backed by 5 - 12 years of progressive experience within a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.

- Display high levels of adaptability and professional skepticism, with a proven track record of working effectively in a hybrid office environment in Mumbai to meet stringent reporting deadlines.
