Audit (Assurance) | Mumbai / Bengaluru / Gurgaon (Hybrid)

Designation- Manager or Associate Director

Reports to: Partner - DPP (Head of Technical)

Practice focus: Ind AS/IFRS, Auditing Standards, Methodology & Inspection Strategy

What You'll Do:

1) Technical consultations & firm positions:

- Lead the highest- complexity matters (financial instruments, business combinations with NCI puts/earn- outs, restructurings, supplier finance, going concern).

- Arbitrate contrasting views and sign DPP technical positions with the Partner; prepare AC- ready slides.

2) Methodology, ISQM & inspection strategy:

- Design and roll out methodology/policy changes; own ISQM 1/2 strategy and monitoring.

- Run Mock Inspection Weeks; interface with QA/NFRA/PCAOB reviewers; drive remediation and root- cause culture.

3) Training architecture & enablement:

- Architect practice- wide curriculum; present at partner forums; measure impact on file quality and inspection outcomes.

- Sponsor PD Decision- in- 20, KAM/EM/OM phrasebook, sector kickoff kits and disclosure sprints.

4) Thought leadership & market presence:

- Lead publications on key topics (supplier financing, loan covenants, IP migration, ESG assurance).

- Represent the firm in ICAI/industry roundtables; media- safe spokesperson (with Comms).

5) People leadership & operating model:

- Line- manage 6-10 staff; hiring panels; succession planning; budget responsibility.

- Embed DPP liaisons on top accounts; set SLAs for consultations; publish heatmap dashboards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 6+ years of experience in Statutory Audit FS/Non FS Indian practice only

- Expert command of Ind AS & Standards on Auditing; strong IFRS orientation; deep knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI LODR/ICDR, Schedule III and CARO.

- Proven record of signing/leading complex technical positions and presenting to Audit Committees/partners.

- Exceptional technical writing and stakeholder management.
