Manager/Associate Director - Mining & Metals Advisory

Role Overview

The role involves leading advisory engagements for Indian mining and metals clients, State Government and Central Government bodies/PSUs, across policy and regulatory advisory, transaction advisory for mineral blocks, and bid process management. The position also covers operationalization of mineral blocks, business transformation, and EBITDA improvement. This is a client-facing role requiring strong mining domain expertise combined with consulting and business acumen, with significant engagement expected in the Southern region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end advisory engagements for mining and metals clients

- Understand regulatory oversight and drive policy reforms in the mining sector,

- Transaction Advisory for mineral blocks, including bid process management and due diligence

- Advise on operationalization of mineral blocks and obtaining statutory clearances.

- Drive business transformation, EBITDA improvement, and operational excellence initiatives

- Advise clients on mining operations such as mine development, production, and statutory compliance

- Support digital initiatives and transformation in mining operation

- Support business development, proposal preparation, and opportunity conversion

- Manage senior client stakeholders and ensure high-quality project delivery

- Mentor and manage consulting teams for successful project outcomes

Desired Experience:

- Minimum 7 Years of experience in consulting (mining & metals) or mining operations

- Experience in consulting assignments or exposure to large mining organizations or PSUs,

- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks for Coal, Metals and Critical Minerals

- Hands-on experience in mine operations, productivity improvement, and cost optimization

Educational Qualifications:

- B.Tech in Mining Engineering or Earth Sciences (Geology, Mining Machinery, Mineral, etc.)

- MBA from a reputed institute (strongly preferred)
