Manager/Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation - CA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Tax Compliance:

- Ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

- Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

- Managing tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

- Maintaining documentation and records related to tax filings.

2. Tax Planning:

- Providing recommendations on tax-efficient structures for business transactions.

- Analysing the tax implications of various business decisions.

- Managing and overseeing transfer pricing analysis and compliance.

3. Reporting and Analysis:

- Preparing and reviewing tax calculations, provisions, and reports.

- Reconciling general ledger accounts related to tax.

- Analyzing tax data and identifying potential tax liabilities or opportunities.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborating with finance, accounting, and legal teams.

- Working with external tax consultants and advisors.

- Communicating tax-related information to internal stakeholders.

- Providing guidance and support to internal teams on tax matters.

5. Other:

- Managing tax litigation and appeals.

- Identifying and mitigating tax risks.

- Staying abreast of international tax regulations and their impact on the organization.

- Mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA with 3-5 years of experience and Strong knowledge of direct tax laws and regulations (especially the Income Tax Act in India).

2. Experience in tax planning, compliance, and litigation.

3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

5. Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
