Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements, ensuring adherence to IFRS, GAAP, and local regulatory frameworks to maintain the highest standards of financial reporting.
- Manage client relationships at the CXO and Board level, providing strategic insights and resolving complex accounting queries to build long-term trust and partnership.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and finalization of audits, ensuring that team deliverables meet stringent quality benchmarks and internal risk management protocols.
- Mentor and develop audit teams by providing technical guidance and performance feedback, thereby enhancing the collective capability of the assurance practice.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying value-add opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to the growth of the firms assurance portfolio.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in Statutory Audit and Assurance, with a deep understanding of complex financial reporting standards including IFRS and GAAP.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of navigating intricate accounting issues and providing clear, actionable solutions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage large, multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential for articulating complex audit findings to audit committees and management teams.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 to 11 years of progressive experience within a Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm.
- High degree of adaptability to a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing on-site client interactions with remote collaboration to ensure seamless project delivery
