Location : Delhi Qualification : CA Experience : 7+ Years Roles: 1.Support Litigation Management for optimum possible results, with specific focus on Audit, Assessments, and representation before tax authorities, in respect of Indirect Tax matters including GST 2.Support and provide documentation to respective Businesses on P&L impact arising out of judicial decisions impacting organisation businesses and Influence Tax Policy Change / Government Representation. 3.Manage Assessments and Audit, Responds notices received to ensure timely responses where required, Prepare draft response under Assessments for submission to respective tax authorities/courts and Tracks and monitors litigated title claim issues and provide reporting to management and clients. 4.Attends meetings and provides updates related to Assessments/Audit, Attends hearings or mediations as needed, participates in off-site due diligence reviews and - prepare case history for briefing counsels and participates in discussion along with CoE Head-Litigation, in connection with Audit/ Assessments. 5.Support development of Tax Processes, Controls, System improvements, to streamline, automate and meet the transformational requirements to implement change in the tax laws for business continuity and compliances with specific reference to subjects under Litigation. 6.Manage litigation under diversified business group, involving operational tax, along with strong experience of suggesting tax planning measures in large size projects and handling complex indirect tax litigations. 7.Required sound subject matter knowledge in the area of GST, Service tax, Central Excise, Customs, VAT, Entry tax to proactively assess risks, various tax implications in the business and advise mitigation plans to Sectors within reasonable time 8.Supports provide tax planning measures, Responsible to obtain Duty drawback, Service tax other incentives and pending refunds, Support vetting of contract documents for tax efficient structuring of transactions, Adept in drafting the responses to the show cause notices, draft appeal, memorandum and making presentations for internal / external stakeholders.
