Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive our critical payments modernization initiatives. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, defining requirements, and facilitating the implementation of cross-border payments solutions and ISO 20022 migration. You will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders in online/mobile banking and the technology teams to ensure seamless payment transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze and document current payment processes and systems, identifying gaps and opportunities for transformation.

- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements for cross-border payment systems and ISO 20022 migration projects.

- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases.

- Collaborate with product owners, compliance, and technology teams to design solutions for online banking and mobile banking payment features.

- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to align on scope, requirements, and solution design.

- Support testing teams by clarifying requirements and assisting in the validation of implemented solutions.

- Provide subject matter expertise on payment rails, messaging standards (ISO 20022), and digital banking trends.

- Assist in the preparation of business cases, impact analyses, and post-implementation reviews.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Payments domain.

- Hands-on experience with Cross-Border Payments systems and processes.

- In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards and migration projects.

- Strong understanding of Online banking and Mobile banking platforms and their payment functionalities.

- Experience in Payments Transformation programs (modernization, consolidation, or new implementation).

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with payment platforms like SWIFT, Fedwire, SEPA, or real-time payment systems.
