Job Title: Manager - AML Screening Team

Location: Mumbai

Shift: 5:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST

Role Overview: The Manager will oversee the AML Screening team responsible for conducting sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening for investor onboarding, redemptions, transfers, and ongoing monitoring. The role involves managing day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and accurate screening, escalating high-risk cases, and liaising with global teams across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a Mumbai-based team conducting real-time AML name screening.

- Review and disposition alerts generated from global sanctions, PEP lists, and negative news sources.

- Ensure all escalations are handled in line with internal risk policies.

- Maintain documentation and audit trails of all reviews performed.

- Coordinate with global stakeholders to ensure seamless 24/5 screening coverage.

- Mentor and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance reviews.

- Work closely with compliance and risk functions to ensure regulatory adherence.

- Contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and quality control.

- Prepare regular MIS and reporting dashboards highlighting KPIs, issues, and escalations.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6-8 years in AML screening, preferably within fund services or financial services.

- Strong understanding of global sanctions regimes and regulatory frameworks.

- Experience leading teams and managing performance in a high-volume environment.

- Familiarity with screening tools and investigative research techniques.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- CAMS certification preferred.

Note: This role supports global clients and requires alignment with international regulatory standards. Night shift work is mandatory.
