Manager - Agri Services & Sustainability

Role Mandate:

Drive large-scale crop development and sustainability programs across key geographies, focusing on Wheat, Paddy, Soil Health, and Regenerative Practices, ensuring farmer adoption, productivity improvement, and sourcing advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crop Development & Agronomy Leadership

- Lead crop development programs for Wheat, Paddy, and Maize

- Drive agronomy interventions for soil health, yield, and quality improvement

- Promote adoption of soil amendments, biologicals, and regenerative practices

2. Field Trials & Demonstration Programs

- Plan and execute large-scale field trials and demonstration plots

- Lead farmer demonstration programs (CPK-type initiatives)

- Collaborate with research institutes and internal R&D teams

3. Farmer Adoption & Territory Execution

- Drive farmer engagement programs across multiple geographies

- Focus regions: MP, UP, Maharashtra

- Manage field teams and ensure strong last-mile execution

4. Sustainability & Agri-Tech Integration

- Support sustainability initiatives aligned with sourcing programs

- Leverage Agri-Tech platforms for farmer engagement and monitoring

5. Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Sustainability, Sourcing)

- Liaise with research institutes, government bodies, and partners

Candidate Profile:

Must Have:

- M.Sc / PhD in Agriculture (Agronomy preferred)

- 7-15 years experience in crop development / agronomy roles

- Strong expertise in Wheat, Paddy, Soil Health

- Experience in large-scale field trials

- Exposure to multiple geographies (MP, UP, Maharashtra)

- Hindi speaking (mandatory)

Preferred:

- Experience in high starch maize

- Exposure to sustainability / regenerative agriculture

- Familiarity with Agri-Tech platforms
