Key Responsibilities:
Backward Integration & Crop Programs
- Plan, execute, and manage backward integration projects for turmeric and chilli.
- Develop scalable crop development and sourcing models aligned with business needs.
Farmer Engagement & Sourcing
- Build and strengthen farmer networks and sourcing clusters.
- Drive farmer training, awareness, and adoption of best agricultural practices.
- Implement direct sourcing models for quality and cost optimization.
Operational Excellence
- Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sourcing and farmer programs.
- Review program performance periodically and document outcomes for reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work with procurement, supply chain, and quality teams to align sourcing with demand.
- Represent the organization in farmer meetings, agri forums, and industry networks.
Required Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelors / Masters degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business Management, Rural Management, or related field.
- MBA / PGDM in Agri-Business or Rural Management (preferred).
Experience:
- 69 years of experience in agri operations, crop development, backward integration, or direct sourcing.
- Hands-on experience in managing farmer networks, sourcing clusters, and procurement-linked programs.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of agri supply chains and value chain optimization.
- Ability to build and manage large farmer networks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in monitoring program KPIs.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and project management skills
