Manager - Actuarial - General Insurance

Job Description :

- A technically strong and analytically driven actuarial professional to lead a dynamic team responsible for pricing and quotation development across emerging and specialized insurance segments.

- This includes Affinity Proposals, Parametric Insurance (AQI, temperature, rainfall-based), Cattle, Government Health and Crop Insurance.

- The ideal candidate will bring deep actuarial expertise, strategic thinking and leadership capabilities to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and maintenance of pricing models for health and general insurance products to ensure competitive market positioning and profitability.

- Conduct comprehensive reserve analysis and valuation exercises to ensure regulatory compliance and financial stability for client portfolios.

- Communicate complex actuarial findings and risk assessments to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making at the leadership level.

- Mentor junior actuarial analysts by providing technical guidance on modeling techniques and industry best practices to foster team growth.

- Monitor emerging market trends and regulatory changes to proactively adjust product strategies and risk mitigation frameworks.
