Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts professional with a strong background in the financial services industry to join a fast-paced and growing team for a client in the NBFC sector in Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should possess strong proficiency in indirect taxation, advanced Excel skills, and working knowledge of Tally. Candidate must be adaptable, self-driven, and eager to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
2) Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST and other indirect tax returns.
3) Maintain general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4) Handle audits (internal and statutory) and liaise with auditors.
5) Prepare financial statements and MIS reports for management review.
6) Manage Tally ERP system for all accounting functions.
7) Analyze financial data using advanced Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.).
8) Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
