Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and accounts finalization for the organization.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Ind AS accounting standards, financial statement preparation, accounting operations, statutory audits, and finance process management. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, accuracy in financial reporting, and the ability to manage core accounting functions efficiently within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end accounts finalization including preparation of financial statements, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and related schedules.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Ind AS accounting standards and statutory requirements.

- Oversee all accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.

- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes while ensuring timely payment processing and accurate record maintenance.

- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance-related activities.

- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting procedures, internal controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

- Support taxation, compliance filings, and financial documentation requirements.

- Monitor financial transactions, accounting entries, and reporting accuracy across finance operations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.

- Support management with MIS reports, financial analysis, reconciliations, and accounting insights.

- Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting controls across finance functions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Strong experience in Accounts Finalization and Financial Statement Preparation.

- Hands-on expertise in Ind AS Accounting Standards.

- Strong understanding of accounting operations, AP, AR, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.

- Experience handling statutory audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting capabilities.

- Attention to detail and ability to work in deadline-driven environments.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to independently manage accounting functions with high accuracy and ownership.

Education :

CA (Chartered Accountant) mandatory.
