Position Title: Accounts & Finance Manager

Location: Bangalore

Experience Required:

- Minimum 3 years of team handling experience.

- Overall, 2-4 years (CA) OR 8-10 years (M. Com/MBA) in Finance & Accounts

Job Summary:

The Accounts & Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization through effective financial management, statutory compliance, project accounting, and strategic financial planning. The role involves end-to-end accounting for EPC projects, strong leadership of the finance team, and close coordination with project, procurement, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.

- Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and margin analysis for EPC projects.

- Manage EPC project accounting including cost tracking, WIP, revenue recognition, budgeting, and fund utilization.

- Monitor project budgets and ensure financial discipline across projects.

- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.

- Provide financial insights to support management's strategic decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable statutory regulations.

- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal control policies.

- Monitor cash flow, collections, vendor payments, and subcontractor accounts.

- Optimize working capital and ensure timely billing and collections.

- Play a key role in ERP implementation, process design, and system improvements.

- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve financial controls.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts and finance team.

- Coordinate with project, procurement, commercial, and management teams on financial matters.

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting by the team.

Qualifications & Skills Educational Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Preferred

- MBA (Finance) / M. Com

Experience

- Strong experience in Finance & Accounts operations, preferably in EPC / Infrastructure / Project-based companies.

- Minimum 3 years of team handling experience.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, and Direct Taxation.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
