Key Responsibilities
General:
- Train and mentor team members in specific areas of accounting and taxation.
- Review the performance of junior accountants and provide corrective feedback.
Accounting & Reconciliations:
- Verify and review financial statements, accounting entries, and software records.
- Assist in accounting for periodic accruals (quarterly, half-yearly, annual).
- Ensure accurate reconciliations of cash, bank, stock, inter-company accounts, assets, and vendor accounts.
Banking & Compliance:
- Maintain confidentiality of bank passwords, tokens, and online banking access.
- Ensure compliance with client policies before processing disbursements.
- Review tax payments and ensure timely filing of returns under IT, TDS, PF, GST, PT, etc.
MIS Reporting & Audit:
- Prepare periodic MIS reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and assist in budgeting.
- Prepare audit documents, coordinate audits, and assist with tax and transfer pricing audits.
- Conduct internal audits as required.
Corporate Law & Secretarial:
- Draft resolutions, minutes of meetings, and coordinate with legal teams for filings.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in Accounting/Finance.
- Experience: 5+ years in accounts, taxation, and compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Tally ERP and Excel.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, PT, and corporate laws.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Ability to manage financial data, prepare reports, and liaise with auditors and stakeholders
