Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager-Accounts to join our dynamic Agri Business team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and procurement, to ensure seamless financial processes and compliance. Your contributions will directly impact the financial health and sustainable growth of our Agri Business, enabling us to better serve our farmers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, to provide insights into business performance.

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.

- Provide financial analysis and support to management, including variance analysis, profitability analysis, and investment analysis, to inform strategic decision-making.

- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/MBA Finance preferred.

- Minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience in corporate accounts and financial reporting.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
