Qualification: CA with 7+ years
Technical Expertise:
- Must have strong basic accounting knowledge - Accounting concepts, principles,
- Must have working knowledge of preparation of India GAAP Financial statement with notes to accounts (IND AS), supported in Internal and external audits. Must have knowledge in Internal financial controls.
- Must have managed a team of minimum 10 to 15 people
- Should have strong working exposure to AP, AR, FA, GL - Month end close, Year end close
- Must have knowledge in compliances - Direct and Indirect tax including basic knowledge of Advance tax, Company secretarial services, Transfer pricing etc.,
- Strong working knowledge in TDS, GST - Should have worked on eTDS returns, support in preparation of data relating to GST filing - Purchase Register, Sales register, RCM
- Should have strong working knowledge of Tally ERP or any other ERP
- Strong working knowledge in Excel with minimum functionality of excel function, Copilot, AI use.,
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills
- Self learner, flexible to work stretch time
- Manage all client deliverables (AR, AP, GL, Payroll, Reporting, Statutory compliances etc.)
- Manage the team and ensure that the team consistently delivers quality results
- Interact with clients to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and work closely with their internal leadership team
- Responsible for meeting agreed client Service Level Agreements (SLA) on Turn Around Time (TAT) & Accuracy, as applicable
- Review and execution of quality deliverables
- Effectively manage escalations and provide guidance and coaching to the team
- Understand and adhere to EY Quality & Risk Management and Independence requirements
- Responsible for building and managing a high performing team
- Periodic team counselling, mentoring and timely appraisals
- Providing effective solutions and guiding team members on various Functional issues
- Effective delegation, resource allocations and multi-tasking
- Address other key elements of the people agenda (hiring, training, attrition, people engagement and issue resolution)
