Senior Manager - Financial Reporting (CMAAS) Qualified CA

Location: Chennai

We are a leading global professional services organization seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our dedicated Capital Market and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team within Assurance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Chartered Accountant to provide high-value advisory on complex accounting and capital market matters.

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager in CMAAS, you will play a critical role in providing assurance and high-value advisory services on financial performance and operations, helping businesses adapt to new regulatory requirements and strengthen corporate governance.

The Assurance service line provides an independent opinion on a company's financial report, a critical element in the capital markets system.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead complex GAAP conversion projects (IFRS/US GAAP/Ind AS).

- Provide accounting advisory support to clients on technical and complex accounting issues across IFRS, US GAAP, and Ind AS.

- Author technical memos and issue papers detailing complex accounting solutions.

- Oversee projects related to IPO preparedness and the preparation of financial information for IPO transactions.

- Assist due diligence teams in assessing the IFRS/US GAAP impact of cross-border transactions.

- Contribute to the firm's thought leadership publications on IFRS, Indian GAAP, and Ind AS.

- Focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing key client relationships.

- Supervise projects, develop and implement technical solutions, and manage project teams.

- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering technical excellence and learning.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Experience: 4-9 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting.

- Demonstrated experience in managing Indian GAAP / IFRS GAAP conversion projects.

- Ability to read, understand, and apply complex technical accounting standards.

- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to travel.

- Strong project and team management capabilities
