Management Trainee - Supply Chain - Consumer Goods - IIM/XLRI/TISS/MDI/FMS

About the Role:

Safari Industries is looking to hire high-potential MBA graduates from premier B-Schools who aspire to build leadership careers in Supply Chain and Operations. This Management Trainee Program is designed to develop future supply chain leaders through structured exposure across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing Coordination, Warehousing, Logistics, Distribution, and Supply Chain Analytics.

The selected candidates will work closely with senior leadership on strategic and operational projects that drive efficiency, scalability, and business growth across Safari's supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning:

- Support demand forecasting and supply planning activities.

- Analyze sales trends, inventory requirements, and capacity utilization.

- Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) discussions.

- Assist in developing supply chain optimization strategies.

Procurement & Sourcing:

- Work with procurement teams on sourcing initiatives and vendor management.

- Support supplier performance evaluation and cost optimization projects.

- Analyze procurement data to identify efficiency opportunities.

Logistics & Distribution:

- Monitor logistics operations and service levels across regions.

- Drive projects focused on transportation efficiency and cost reduction.

- Collaborate with logistics partners to improve delivery performance.

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

- Analyze inventory health, stock availability, and inventory turns.

- Support warehouse productivity and process improvement initiatives.

- Identify opportunities for automation and digitization.

Supply Chain Analytics:

- Develop dashboards and reports for key supply chain metrics.

- Analyze business data and provide actionable recommendations.

- Present findings and insights to leadership teams.

Business Transformation Projects:

- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.

- Work on technology adoption, process excellence, and supply chain digitization initiatives.

- Drive continuous improvement and best-practice implementation.
