About the Role
We are looking for an initial team member involved in multi-functional role and work directly with the founders to sell our software product to Indian SMEs, spend time in the market with customers, and channel raw, unfiltered customer insights back into product and GTM strategy. This is not a typical sales job - it's about being the voice of the customer inside the company while helping us scale revenue on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Ground Hustle and Problem Solving
Customer Feedback Loop:
- Collect structured and unstructured feedback from SMEs (pain points, feature gaps, pricing sensitivity, adoption blockers).
- Work with founders & product team to translate this into product improvements.
- Test new product features/sales pitches directly with customers and share rapid insights.
Founder Collaboration:
- Work closely with founders on GTM experiments, pricing pilots, and new market entry.
Reporting & Insights:
- Maintain crisp weekly reporting on sales numbers, customer conversations, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Suggest improvements in sales process, collateral, and product positioning.
What We're Looking For:
Background: 0-3 years experience in B2B/SME sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, logistics tech, POS, ERP, or related domains.
Skills:
- Hustler mindset
- Analytical bent
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Street-smart and empathetic to SME challenges.
