
Management Trainee to Leadership Role - HR
About the Organization:
A fast-growing personal care and beauty brand based in Ahmedabad, specializing in science-backed, clean, and high-efficacy formulations across skincare, haircare, and body care categories. The organization is building a next-generation leadership team of young, ambitious, high-pedigree professionals positioned for future CEO, CXO, and business leader roles. HR Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team on all HR-related matters, including organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Forecast HR needs and develop plans to address them, ensuring the company has the right talent in place to achieve its goals.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all functions (marketing, product development, operations, sales, etc.).
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job description development to offer negotiation.
- Develop and implement engaging onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and become productive quickly.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
- Champion and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture that reflects our values.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Organise and oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring fairness and compliance.
Performance Management & Development:
- Establish and manage performance management systems (goal setting, appraisals, feedback mechanisms) to drive individual and team performance.
- Identify training and development needs and implement programs that foster continuous learning and career growth for employees.
- Develop succession planning strategies for key roles.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Conduct market research and participate in salary surveys to ensure compensation structures are aligned with industry standards.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Manage HR administrative tasks, including HRIS management, recordkeeping, and payroll coordination.
- Oversee employee data management and ensure data privacy and security.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Full-time MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from premier institutes (IIMs, XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, SPJIMR, MDI, etc.) 0-4 years of progressive HR experience,
- Prior experience in a startup environment, particularly within the beauty, personal care, FMCG, or consumer goods industry, is highly preferred
