
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly experienced MIS Manager to lead and scale our Management Information Systems (MIS) function within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain.
- This role requires strong leadership, deep RCM knowledge, and advanced technical expertise to drive data strategy, automation, operational analytics, and client-facing insights.
- The Senior MIS Manager will oversee the MIS team, improve reporting frameworks, enhance system utilization, and ensure high-quality data-driven support for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Reporting & Advanced Analytics:
- Oversee the design and governance of enterprise-level RCM reporting frameworks.
- Drive the development of analytical models for forecasting, trend analysis, and performance enhancement.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all high-impact operational, financial, and executive reports.
- Create advanced dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI/Tableau to support strategic decision-making.
Data Management, Governance & Compliance:
- Establish data quality standards, validations, and audit frameworks across RCM systems.
- Maintain system-wide data integrity, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and healthcare security requirements.
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to enhance data pipelines, ETL processes, and system integrations.
- Manage master data governance and ensure consistent use of data definitions across the organization.
Automation, Process Optimization & System Improvements:
- Lead RCM process automation initiatives using SQL, scripting, RPA, macros, and API integrations.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies or tools to reduce manual effort and improve throughput.
- Optimize system configurations and lead enhancements, upgrades, and cross-platform integrations.
- Spearhead transformation projects involving new RCM systems, migrations, or large-scale process redesign.
Client Leadership & Relationship Management:
- Interact with senior client stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver value-focused solutions.
- Present performance insights, analytical findings, and automation outcomes in client meetings.
- Translate client requirements into MIS strategies, ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery.
- Support business reviews, forecasting discussions, and strategic planning with data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction through proactive communication and high-quality MIS support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with operations, quality, client services, finance, and IT to align MIS initiatives with business goals.
- Support new client onboarding efforts by defining reporting structures, KPIs, and system setup.
- Coordinate with external vendors or technology partners on system enhancements and issue resolution.
Leadership, Team Development & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing MIS team, including managers, analysts, and reporting specialists.
- Should have managed ideally larger or multi-tiered teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, technical upskilling, and competency building within the department.
- Oversee workload distribution, talent development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accuracy, accountability, and data-driven excellence.
Technical Skills:
- Expert proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and database management.
- Experience with major RCM systems (Epic, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, Athena, etc.
- Strong understanding of automation tools, ETL pipelines, scripting, and reporting technologies.
- Deep knowledge of HIPAA, PHI protection, and industry compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience:
- 10 to 13 years of MIS experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in RCM, healthcare, BPO, or ITES.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare billing systems, payer policies, claim workflows, and RCM KPI's.
