Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a seasoned Management Consultant with experience in Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Energy, or other heavy industrial sectors to join our exclusive talent pool for an upcoming, high-impact operations transformation program with a global management consulting firm.

The engagement spans multiple workstreams across industrial value chains and requires consultants with strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving expertise, and the ability to drive on-ground execution.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead assigned workstreams and support the overall transformation roadmap across metals, mining, chemicals, and energy operations.

- Conduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover insights and enable effective decision-making.

- Collaborate closely with senior consultants, functional experts, and client leadership teams to implement operational improvements.

- Support and facilitate workshops, problem-solving sessions, and leadership reviews.

- Track project milestones, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely completion of deliverables.

- Travel to client locations (Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, etc.) as required for on-ground execution.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-12 years of experience in operations, strategy consulting, or business transformation initiatives.

- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability; must be able to independently manage workstreams.

- Prior exposure to heavy industries such as Metals, Mining, Chemicals, or Energy is strongly preferred.

- Experience with consulting firms (Big 4, A&M, or similar) is an advantage.

- MBA from a reputed institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SP Jain, etc.) is strongly preferred.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional client teams.

Project Details:

- Duration: 8-12 months (extendable).

- Work Model: Flexible base location within India; extensive travel required to client sites.

- Engagement Type: Full-time contractual consulting role.
