Our client, a global management consulting firm, is supporting a leading player in the manufacturing and industrial sector on a high-impact operations transformation program. The project spans multiple workstreams across metals, mining, chemicals, and energy, with a strong focus on operational excellence and performance uplift.

As part of the engagement, they would like to onboard a Management Consultant with prior experience in the Metals & Mining, Chemicals or the Energy industry.

The consultant will drive end-to-end transformation initiatives that require strong analytical capability, structured problem-solving, and on-ground execution support. The selected consultant(s) will play a pivotal role in driving a critical workstream, collaborating closely with senior consultants, functional experts, and client leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive assigned workstreams and support the overall transformation roadmap

- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, build insights, and support decision-making

- Collaborate with consulting team members and client stakeholders to implement operational improvements

- Support workshops, problem-solving sessions, and reviews with senior leadership

- Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion of workstream milestones

- Travel to client sites (Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, etc.) as required for on-ground execution

Your Background:

- 5-13 years of experience in operations, strategy consulting, or transformation programs

- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability-must be highly proficient in structured problem-solving

- Preferred industry exposure: Metals, Mining, Chemicals, Energy, or similar heavy industries

- Consulting experience (A&M, Big 4, or similar firms) is preferred

- MBA from a reputed institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SP Jain, etc.) is strongly preferred

- Ability to independently manage workstreams and engage with cross-functional client teams

Other Information:

- Duration: 8-12 months (extendable).

- Work model: Flexible base location within India; consultant must be willing to travel to client sites as this is a travel intensive role.
