Job Description
To drive sales growth, dealer engagement, and market expansion in the assigned region by leading a high-performing team of Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Managers and managing end-to-end execution of sales strategies. The role will serve as a strategic link between regional field operations and corporate leadership, ensuring alignment with national business goals and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution
- Translate national sales strategy into actionable regional plans.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
- Identify regional market trends and define localized action plans.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the team of RSM, Area Sales Managers (ASMs).
- Review RSM/ASM performance regularly and ensure KPI achievement.
- Promote a disciplined, data-driven sales culture.
3. Dealer Management
- Strengthen the dealer network and resolve field-level issues.
- Implement structured dealer review, incentive, and feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure dealer compliance with branding and pricing policies.
4. Analytics and Cross-functional coordination
- Drive usage of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Business Intelligence dashboards.
- Provide weekly reports to senior management with actionable insights.
- Work closely with Branding, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure sales enablement tools match field requirements.

- Sales Achievement 90% Achievement vs. Regional Sales Target
- Dealer Growth No. of Active Dealers, Dealer Satisfaction Score
- RSM/ASM Performance 80% of RSM/ASMs meeting monthly KPIs
- CRM Adoption 100% Reporting and Activities Logged on Salesforce
- Territory Expansion New Towns/Industries Added
- Team Health Retention and Engagement of Sales Team
Desired Profile
- Experience: 18+ years in B2B sales, distribution-led models; minimum 3 years in a regional or national leadership role.
- Age/Sex/Marital status: No bar
- Industry Exposure: Safety Equipment / Industrial Products / B2B Sales
- Education: Graduate in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred
- Skills: Strong leadership, analytical ability, dealer network management, CRM usage, excellent communication
