ROLE - REVENUE ANALYST LEVEL - DEPUTY MANAGER TEAM - GROUND TRANSPORT REPORTING TO - SENIOR MANAGER - GROUND TRANSPORT ABOUT THE ROLE: The incumbent will be a part of Revenue team of Ground Transport business. As an Analyst you will be responsible for MIS (maintaining data in an easily trackable format), data analysis and deriving/leveraging meaningful insights for business. ABOUT THE FUNCTION: The ground transport (GT) function offers a range of transportation options to suit the needs and preferences of different travelers, providing safe and reliable transportation services essential for connecting people and places. The GT function is an integral part of our organization's vision which offers affordable and convenient means of travel for millions of people every day. This function has three different lines of revenue, namely - Bus, Cabs, and Railway, each serving different needs and preferences of travelers. IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL GET TO: - Track key business metrics daily and enable the team to do so by preparing daily reports and -automated dashboard in Redash - Create rich interactive data visualizations through data interpretation & integrating various data sources - Proactively analyze data using statistical methods to derive emerging customer or business trends/patterns, thus identifying areas of improvement in efficiency and productivity - Identify and utilize external data sources (e.g. Redbus, IRCTC, etc) to derive actionable insights for the business - Own up integrity of operational reports and take needful actions to fix emerging issues in representation or data - Act upon the areas of improvement or key insights derived from analysis - Design and implement experiments by tweaking business levers and tracking impact - Work with management to prioritize business and information needs QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: - Knowledge of Advanced SQL queries and Advanced Excel is must - Exposure to Google Analytics / Adobe Omniture - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy - Familiarity with BI technologies - Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively drive complex projects within as well as outside the team - Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (SPSS, SAS, R, Python, etc) is preferred
