About the Opportunity: Role - Product Management Level - Assistant Manager (RL3) Location - Gurgaon Reporting to - Director - Product Management About the function: - When it comes to booking a flight, MakeMyTrip is the undisputed leader in the air travel segment. The other well recognized brand under the Go-MMT umbrella is Goibibo, a leading online travel booking platform providing a range of travel options for the user. - The Flights Product team is the backbone of the Go-MMT Air business and creates high positive impact by solving end user problems and identifying areas to generate value across pre-sales and post-sales. Some of the key metrics which we work on are Funnel Conversion, Monetization, Ancillary uptake, and NPS. About the role: - The incumbent will be responsible for setting up the MakeMyTrip flights product charter/roadmap & strategy, as well as feature definitions of the product and will also lead the product implementation & launch. What you'll be doing: - Conceptualize and build new products & features which are accurate, scalable and impactful. - Ambitiously think and define product vision and strategy. - Own product releases by collaborating with technology, design and QA teams. - Define & own product KPIs for your product. - Build strong product insights through consistent customer engagement, market research and contribute to product vision. - Evaluate market competition and position the product line to appeal to the user. - Constantly analyze product performance post-launch and iterate on the same to keep improving the product experience. Qualification & Experience: - B.Tech or MBA graduates from reputable institutes with 0-2 years of experience into Product management. - Candidates with Engineering background would be preferred. - Candidates from Consulting background can also apply Key success factors for the role: - Think about user experience, growth as well as business/revenue. - Obsess about user problems (empathy) - Passion for data / data analytics - Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - A team player with bias for action
