Role Overview
The Maintenance Head will oversee end-to-end maintenance operations across 3 regions, covering 200+ Chaayos cafes. The role demands hands-on involvement at the ground level, ensuring minimal downtime, cost optimization, and consistent upkeep of infrastructure and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance operations across 200+ cafes in 3 regions.
- Actively engage in ground-level maintenance work to ensure smooth operations.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of recurring technical issues and implement permanent solutions.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of kitchen equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
- Manage vendor network and AMC contracts, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
- Optimize maintenance costs without compromising service standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of regional technicians and staff.
- Track and report maintenance KPIs such as uptime, cost, and response time.

- Strong technical expertise in QSR/restaurant or related industry's maintenance operations.
- Ability to handle large-scale operations across multiple regions.
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in Root Cause Analysis and preventive maintenance strategies.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance management.
- Prior experience in QSR, hospitality, or retail industry is highly desirable.
