Team Lead Strategy PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: - You will work closely with VP Strategy-Internal Consulting with different sector/ businesses on various business strategies. - You will be required to analyze competition, understand different industry trends and macroeconomic parameters to identify their impact on the businesses. Responsibilities: - Primary To support various businesses / sectors in formulation of their business strategies (Market Entry / Market Expansion / Sales Effectiveness / Cost Reduction / Operational Effectiveness / Go To Market Etc..) - To study competition, market trends, industry trends, regulatory aspects and macroeconomic parameters specific to business and provide periodic inputs to businesses/sectors and provide insights. - To provide alternative views regarding business strategies and providing them with market comparison along with data. - To work on key projects (such as market entry, profit improvement, cost reduction, process optimization, diversification, new business evaluation, etc.) as per business / corporate management requirement and ensure desired deliverables. - To help businesses in operationalization of strategies, as appropriate. - To support businesses and corporate management in terms of specific information requirement and analysis. - To be the catalyst for new technology trends. - Secondary Knowledge Sharing - Learning Sessions to create Knowledge databank within GSO. - Team Work & Sharing Activities to support GSO Colleagues. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: - Education Qualifications "MBA - B-Tech / B.Engg /CA" - Experience 5-10 years - Functional skills required to execute the role "Understanding of strategic aspects of business. - Understanding of global business environment. - Domain knowledge in functional areas such as sales & marketing, finance, operations, supply chain management, HR, etc. - Problem solving capabilities - Analytical skills and logical reasoning abilities" - Behavioral Competencies required "Enthusiastic self starter - Good verbal and written business communication skills. - Ability to put together high quality presentations. - Ability to handle tasks with a fair degree of independence - Project management skills - Team working - Good Business Networking Skills" - Key Interactions: Nature or purpose of interaction - Internal With key executives from sectors / businesses / Group Corporate Office (At different levels) for understanding their business requirements, gathering information & data, and providing business solutions. - External Project specific interactions with customers, business partners, regulatory authorities, industry experts, competitors, business peers for sharing information / best practices / business insights, etc.
