Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Accountable for Chennai profit center of IC&IC Business and manage from Chennai location. Act as a Head of Accounts / Finance Controller for the organization & responsible for accuracy of accounting activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Formulating budgets to achieve these Budgets in close coordination with Business Teams.

- Forecasting, planning, and driving profitability initiatives.

- Ensure good quality and accurate closure of financial results for Chennai entity in IC&IC business through close interactions with Auditors and other stakeholders.

- Reviewing the financial statements viz. P&L Account, Balance Sheets and Cashflows.

- Appreciating various Balance Sheet Risks and initiating actions to mitigate these Risks in a time bound manner in close coordination with Counsels and Corporate Teams.

- Assist in Board Meetings and present various aspects related to Finance, Business etc.

- Close interactions with joint venture partners/Strategic Partners.

- Reviewing existing processes and leading the implementation of systems aimed at enhancing process and operational efficiency of the organization.

- Internal financial controls & Risk Management.

- Ensure smooth closure for Internal audit, Cost audit & Operations audit.

- Prepare the business case for the new projects and develop new Management Information reports.

- Ensure timely invoicing to clients as per billing cycles and on-time collections by keeping the overdues at minimal. Adhere to applicable statutory compliance (GST & TDS) associated with accounts receivable.

- Monitoring and execution of the monthly and quarterly end process including Journal entries, Provision, and reviewing of various clearing accounts.

- Co-ordinating for Statutory Audit, Internal Audits, Cost audits and Tax audits and ensure for the smooth closure of audits on time.

Qualification:

- CA with 6+ years of experience.

Functional Competencies:

- Experience in account receivables.

- Project accounting.

- Cost control.

- Financial closures etc.

- Excellent know how of SAP FICO ERP and MS-Office (Excel & Power-point).

- Knowledge of IGAAP, IND AS, Taxation & Finance; Understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxes.
