About the Role:

The Regional Head Corporate Sales (Prime Brokers) will be responsible for driving corporate business growth across the assigned region through strong broker and direct client relationships. This leadership role demands a strategic sales professional with a deep understanding of the general insurance domain, strong broking relationships, and proven experience in handling large corporate accounts. The incumbent will manage regional sales teams, achieve business targets, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

- Achieve the corporate sales and broking business budget allocated to the region.

- Meet line-wise and segment-wise targets consistently.

- Drive the acquisition of major direct corporate accounts to achieve budgeted numbers.

- Identify new business opportunities and implement initiatives to expand market presence.

2. Broker & Channel Management:

- Activate and engage brokers in the region to maximize business contributions.

- Build, strengthen, and sustain long-term partnerships within the broking ecosystem.

- Conduct broker and channel partner engagement programs to enhance loyalty and drive performance.

- Develop new channels and partnerships to broaden business reach.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Manage and nurture key corporate client relationships with a focus on retention and growth.

- Provide strategic solutions to large direct clients and ensure high service standards.

- Act as the regional escalation point for all major client and partner issues.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate closely with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams.

- Ensure smooth policy issuance, claim servicing, and risk assessment for all corporate clients.

- Support regional initiatives and share insights for cross-departmental alignment.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

- Hire, mentor, and lead the regional corporate sales team to achieve organizational goals.

- Establish performance metrics, provide regular feedback, and motivate the team to deliver results.

- Drive employee engagement and reduce attrition through structured development plans.

- Ensure continuous capability-building through training, coaching, and mentoring.

6. Business Planning & Reporting:

- Prepare regional sales forecasts, plans, and performance reports.

- Track business progress, analyze gaps, and implement corrective action plans.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, pricing guidelines, and audit requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Specialized Skills:

- Strong relationship-building and business development skills.

- Deep understanding of corporate sales dynamics within the general insurance industry.

- Strong network and experience within the local Delhi/NCR insurance market.

- Proven experience in managing broker relationships and corporate accounts.

- Ability to identify growth opportunities and develop new business channels.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA in Marketing (preferred).

- 8 - 10 years of total professional experience, with at least 8 years in General Insurance (GI) corporate sales and broking relationship management.

- Should have spent 8 - 10 years working in the Delhi/NCR market with strong local exposure.

- Demonstrated success in handling large direct corporate clients and broking partners.
