Role Overview:

The Manager - Business Support Group (BSG) will act as the key liaison between business users, technology teams, and vendors to analyze business needs and deliver effective IT system solutions.

The role requires expertise in requirement gathering, UAT management, and system implementation for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business requirements.

- Assess the feasibility of new systems or enhancements to existing applications.

- Prepare detailed functional and business specifications for projects and change requests.

- Conduct change impact analyses and prepare comprehensive change request documentation.

- Manage vendor evaluations and participate in walkthrough sessions for new implementations.

- Design and review test scenarios and test cases based on business process flows.

- Oversee the UAT process, provide testing support, and ensure defect resolution.

- Collaborate with technical teams to differentiate between bugs and change requests.

- Facilitate smooth sign-off from stakeholders for new systems or releases.

- Ensure continuous process improvements and adherence to IT governance practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Post Graduate degree in Business or IT discipline.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Business Analysis or Business Support roles.

- Experience in the General Insurance industry preferred.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent communication and coordination abilities across business and technology teams.
