Job Description

We are looking for Head - Human Resources to lead the end-to-end HR function for a fast-growing manufacturing organization. This is a strategic leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director / CEO and will be responsible for aligning people strategy with business objectives across the corporate office and manufacturing facilities.

The role will focus on building a performance-driven culture, ensuring robust statutory compliance, strengthening employee engagement, and institutionalizing scalable HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive HR strategy aligned with organizational growth, productivity, and cost optimization goals

- Own and deliver HR Balanced Scorecard (BSC) objectives for the organization

- Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leadership and plant management teams

- Lead workforce planning and ensure timely closure of recruitment across corporate, plant, and leadership roles

- Strengthen campus hiring relationships with reputed MBA and professional institutions

- Track recruitment quality metrics including offer-to-join ratio and early attrition

- Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and statutory compliance

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations relevant to manufacturing units

- Lead the Performance Management System including quarterly incentives, annual appraisals, increment cycles, bell curve analysis, and calibration

- Drive HRIS (KEKA) optimization, automation, and data accuracy

- Deliver timely and reliable HR MIS dashboards to support leadership decision-making

- Analyze GPTW survey results and implement structured action plans to improve employee experience

- Design and implement employee engagement, culture-building, and retention initiatives

- Build learning and development frameworks, leadership development programs, and succession plans for critical roles

Candidate Profile

- Postgraduate qualification in HR / Management from a reputed institute

- 7-15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments

- Strong exposure to plant HR, statutory compliance, PMS, and HR operations

- Experience working closely with senior leadership and managing multiple stakeholders

- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (KEKA preferred)
