JOB LOCATION: PIPAVA GUJARAT. Stewardship of Company finances and financial administration, this will encompass management of accounts and coordination of treasury matters. Secure the timely and accurate production of Indian GAAP as well as IFRS consistent annual financial statements as well as statutory accounts. Coordination of audit and taxation matters. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation relating to audit, company as well as personal taxation, transfer pricing, levies and duties etc. Keep abreast of best practice international accounting, especially IFRS. Interface with parent companies on accounting matters, GAAP questions and analyses, financial reporting and other. Ensure the continuous improvement and development of accounting systems and procedures. Lead and manage the Accounting Department with responsibility for the overall performance, development and motivation of its staff. Contribute and play an integral part in the leadership activities of the Company to enable the challenging objectives to be achieved and to drive the department as well as the Company forward. In depth knowledge and experience of statutory accounting requirements as per Indian GAAP as well as per IFRS It is the objective for the Company to strengthen the adherence to Indian GAAP as well as APM Terminals GAAP and thereby strengthen the accounting and financial reporting in line with those two sets of accounting guidelines The Company has already got a strong accounting department with qualified staff. It is anticipated, though, that reporting requirements in the future along the lines of Indian GAAP as well as APM Terminals GAAP will be enhanced and increasingly demanding in terms of disclosures as well as in terms of "fast close". the Company wants to enforce its accounting strength by setting up a new managerial position as Head of Accounts thereby preparing the accounting department for the anticipated future reporting requirements. The Head of Accounts shall lead and manage the Accounting Department, which is responsible for Company statutory and financial accounting, taxation matters, financial administration and audit.
