Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 24 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, analysis, and statement preparation, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits.

- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy and integrity of data.

- Maintain documentation for internal controls and process improvements.

- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.

- Support finance leads in ad-hoc reporting and analysis requirements.

Required Skillsets:

- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.

- Hands-on experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar), and ERP systems.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or pursuing) will be an added advantage.
