The Opportunity



Role: M&A Integration and Operations Manager



Preferred Background: Tier-1 MBA (IIM, ISB, etc.) with Consulting or Strategy background



Experience: 3 - 5 Years (Mid-Senior Level)



Location: Bangalore (Headquarters)



Target CTC: 22,00,000 - 32,00,000 LPA

The Company and Context



We are a high-growth, technology-led Brands in the Fashion and Lifestyle D2C space, built with the stability of a major multinational conglomerate and the agility of a startup. Our core strategy is to acquire, integrate, and rapidly scale the next generation of digital-first brands using our centralized technology platform and capital.



Our operational model is proven, supported by strategic funding (approx. $50 million / 437 Cr.) from a leading US-based global enterprise software VC. This role is central to our expansion, as it drives the seamless transition of newly acquired brands onto our standardized operating platform (Finance, Supply Chain, and Tech Stack).



The Role



We are seeking a structured and results-oriented M&A Integration and Operations Manager. You will own the playbook for integrating newly acquired D2C brands into our central operating structure. This is a critical strategic role, requiring exceptional project management skills, deep operational knowledge, and the ability to manage complex change across various functional teams (Technology, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain).



Key Responsibilities



1. Integration Strategy and Execution:



- Integration Planning: Develop and manage the end-to-end 90-day and 180-day integration plans for all newly acquired brands, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.



- Functional Transition: Lead the transition of core business functions (e.g., inventory management, finance systems, digital marketing accounts, logistics contracts) from the acquired brand's setup to the company's standardized platform.



- Risk Management: Identify potential integration risks (system incompatibility, employee retention, supply chain disruption) and proactively develop mitigation strategies.



2. Operational Standardization and Scalability:



- Process Harmonization: Work with the central operations team to standardize best practices and operating procedures across the portfolio, identifying and leveraging synergies post-acquisition.



- Technology Migration: Oversee the migration of the acquired brand's data and e-commerce platforms onto our core technology stack, ensuring business continuity.



- Knowledge Transfer: Serve as the main point of contact for the founder and legacy teams of the acquired brand during the transition period, ensuring successful knowledge transfer to our core operational teams.



3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:



- Synergy Tracking: Track and report on the realization of projected operational and financial synergies outlined in the M&A business case.



- KPI Alignment: Work with the Finance team to align the acquired brand's financial reporting and key performance indicators (KPIs) with the company's reporting standards.



What You'll Bring (Required Skills and Experience)



- Education: An MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 institute (IIM, ISB, etc.) is mandatory, with a background in Operations, Strategy, or General Management.



- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or a dedicated M&A Integration/PMO (Project Management Office) role, preferably within E-commerce or a Technology group.



- Project Management: Proven expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects using structured methodologies. PMP or relevant certification is a plus.



- Operational Depth: Strong working knowledge of core E-commerce and D2C operational components (Supply Chain, Finance/ERP systems, Digital Infrastructure).



- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive post-acquisition environments.
