About The Role:
- We're hiring a Funding Operations Manager to oversee the full funding workflow for our U.S. solar business - from project QC through milestone tracking and lender submissions.
- You'll lead the funding team, ensure packet accuracy, manage lender portals, and coordinate with accounting and operations to maintain perfect documentation and payout timelines.
- This role demands high comprehension, extreme accuracy, and leadership discipline.
- You'll work closely with the U.S. finance and ops teams to make sure every project meets funding requirements on the first submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Funding Team (QC, M2, and M3 Coordinators) supporting U.S. operations.
- Oversee end-to-end funding processes - including QC, documentation, packet creation, and lender portal submissions.
- Ensure all required project milestones (M1-M3) are verified, documented, and ready for funding.
- Maintain funding trackers and dashboards in Google Sheets / Data Studio for real-time visibility.
- Review and approve packets before submission; ensure 100% accuracy in names, amounts, and documents.
- Communicate directly with U.S. operations and finance to confirm readiness and resolve discrepancies.
- Track payment status, fund releases, and lender timelines daily.
- Audit submissions and identify recurring errors to drive process improvements.
- Document and update SOPs for every funding partner and internal stage.
- Train and mentor funding specialists to maintain accuracy and speed.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Project Management, and Accounting to verify costs and payouts.
- Coordinate with IT/CRM team to automate funding milestone triggers and reporting.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in financial operations, funding, or project accounting.
- Proven experience leading small-to-mid teams in high-volume documentation environments.
- Deep understanding of funding workflows, QC processes, and milestone-based payments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel (formulas, data validation, pivot tables, dashboards).
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinker able to identify process gaps and build long-term solutions.
- Experience supporting or coordinating with U.S. based teams.
