Lufthansa Technik - Manager - Financial Planning

Roles & Responsibility:

Budgeting, Forecasting and Analysis:

1. Build annual Opex, Capex and Cashflow budgets

2. Build quarterly forecast

3. Build scenario analysis and provide structured solutions

Finance Partnering:

1. Build pricing for new services and review pricing of existing service contracts

2. Structure and set up new service contracts in collaboration with other functions and business stakeholders

3. Manage service contracts to make sure of adherence to the terms

4. Provides inputs and feedback for the right structuring of the contracts, cost centers and profit centers

Management Reporting:

1. Build and periodically publish dashboards on financial performance and metrics

2. Provides financial results to the stakeholders on Actual, Forecast and Budgets along with analysis

3. Identify variances and provide analysis for action

4. Establish allocation keys to enable cost analysis

5. Review periodically accounting results provide feedback for correction

Process:

1. Bring in best practices, controls and automation in helping productivity and efficiency, support corporate initiatives including implementations, transformation, etc.

2. Maintain high standards and quality of financial reporting process.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Qualified CA with 5-6 years of proven work experience in the same role (or) an MBA with minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience with an MNC managing multiple cost centers and multiple Business Unit's.

2. Strong accounting knowledge (India or International GAAP) and articulation skills to explain impact of accounting treatments on financial performance

3. Familiar with cross border transactions in particular Transfer Pricing

4. Working experience in dealing with senior management in the organization.

5. Strong knowledge in Financial Planning and Analysis.

6. Strong knowledge of Office Applications viz Excel, Word, etc.

7. Working experience on ERPs like Oracle, SAP, etc.

8. Working experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders internal and external

9. Ability to handle the role independently, strong team player, flexible on work hours and able to work
